Ian Denison

Director

Ian has 25 years’ experience at a senior level, 18 of which have been spent working within and around the world of PFI. He has a strategic and operational background in Asset Management, 11 years of which were spent in the NHS and Third sectors where he delivered and project managed over 18 capital schemes, as well as managing complex operational services. 14 years ago, he founded Community Partnership Projects Limited (CPP), a specialist technical support consultancy helping Public Sector organisations get better value from their PFI contracts.

Since 2015, Ian has delivered ten PFI cost-saving projects, which have saved his clients £35 million. This has also included helping clients exit non-financially viable relationships under both PFI and BSF models. In 2018, he co-founded MDG Associates to bring extra capacity to these projects.

In March 2021, Ian merged CPP and MDG to form Inscyte Limited, bringing further capacity to support the public sector.

Andrew Chubb

Director

Andrew is a former CEO of a Multi-academy Trust, with over 30 years’ experience in education, 25 of which were at a senior level including 14 years as a headteacher in two different schools and 5 years as CEO. He has been closely involved in the design of two academies, a mainstream secondary academy built under BSF and an AP academy built under PSBP. He has extensive experience of PFI in the education sector, which includes successfully renegotiating the FM and Lifecycle contracts of his trust’s biggest school – Archbishop Sentamu Academy. He fully understands how daunting it can appear to tackle PFI contracts, and with his Inscyte colleagues, is able to offer tailored strategies, support and encouragement to Headteachers and CEOs to make the whole process more manageable.

Stuart McAlpine

Director

With over 20 years’ experience in the sector, Stuart has PFI in his blood.  He has built £multi-million projects under it, initially as a construction project manager, and has also commercially managed over 20 PFI contracts for a global FM services provider.

Stuart has direct experience of PFI at many levels and understands the complex dynamics from all stakeholders’ perspectives. In 2018 he co-founded MDG Associates Ltd, a consultancy advising and assisting Public Sector clients in maximising value for money across their PFI contracts, and in March 2021, became a director of Inscyte when CPP and MDG merged.
